Reflections

Lately I've been falling behind on my devotions, and I've been procrastinating school work like crazy; I don't know what's gotten into me! So my first goal is to get back into the holy Word of God every day for a little bit.

One of my favorite passages is Romans 12:1-2
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will."

I need to remember that the merciful God who saved me, also wanted to change me. I need to live my life totally for God, and not be afraid I might fail. It doesn't matter if the world thinks I'm weird or crazy because I'm in love with my Savior.
